I am Brian Clark AKA Billy Sidebyside ( it’s a long story… ). I’ve been an artist all my life. Aside from my pursuit of fine art I’ve also done comic books / graphic novels, design including record covers, books, and poster art for a wide variety of clients from hardcore punk bands to WWE ( yes professional wrestling ). I have also worked in animation where I was lucky enough to get my start doing storyboards for the Tick animated series and even luckier to work with both Ben Edlund and our storyboard supervisor Chirs McCulloch AKA Jackson Public of Venture Brothers fame. Ben was an incredibly talented and giving individual who encouraged us to pursue our talents and helped me begin to develop my own animated series which I have been working on ever since. This is an idea that started with another incredibly talented person I was lucky enough to work with, Steve Niles ( author of 30 Days of Night and numerous other graphic novels, books and movies ) I owe both of these people a huge debt of gratitude, both for inspiring me and for helping me to be here now on the brink of finally realizing a life long dream and producing my own cartoon. I hope you’ll join us in the coming months and years as we bring this to life.
